Taal Volcano
reputed to be the world's smallest volcano, rests on a serene blue
lake. You can arrange a trip to the volcano island in the middle of
Taal Lake.
Picnic Groove
is a mini-park overlooking Taal Volcano where the family
have picnics, go horseback riding, play or rent cottages for an
overnight stay.
Palace in the
Sky, the unfinished mansion of former President Ferdinand
Marcos, has been converted and renamed the People's Park in the Sky
. It offers the most spectacular view of Taal volcano.
Tagaytay High
Lands is a a world class community resort with the best
two 18-hole par 72 golf courses in the Philippines set amidst hilly
terrain and ravines. It boasts a driving range, movies, bowling,
indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and great restaurants.
Orchard Golf
Club opened for play in January 1995 with two
Championship layouts designed by golf legends Arnold Palmer and Gary
Player. The courses abound with indigenous flora and fauna.
The Flower Farm,
a five-hectare farm on a windy slope of a hill in Tagaytay City,
abloom whole year round with flowers such as chrysanthemums,
gerberas, carnations, roses, and anthuriums.
St. Anne's
Shrine, in Barangay Sungay, is a small garden where a
grotto of the Virgin Mary stands. There is even a small grass
clearing in front of the grotto which is conducive to quite
reflection.
Gourmet's Cafe,
located along Aguinaldo Highway, is a restaurant for the health
conscious offering home grown fresh vegetables.
